Iron Plus Essentials is an iron-based supplement formulated to support red blood cells in effective transport of oxygen and ferritin in the body. Ferrochel™ brand iron bis-glycinate was developed using a unique patented process, allowing it to be absorbed rapidly and then released for transport throughout the body. The intestinal mucosal tissue tightly controls the release of Ferrochel™, supporting the safety profile of this iron amino acid chelate. In a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial, iron supplementation supported healthy ferritin levels as well as enhanced energy and well-being in female subjects. This formula includes buffered vitamin C (as calcium ascorbate) to help enhance the absorption of iron.

Directions

Recommended Use: Helps to form red blood cells and helps in their proper function. Helps to prevent iron deficiency anemia and associated tiredness and fatigue. Recommended Dose: Adults, Adolescents and Children (6 years and older): Take 1 capsule daily with a meal, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner
